Product Overview
The Geissele Super Duty MOD1 Upper Receiver is a complete upper receiver for AR-15 platform rifles, chambered in 5.56 NATO. This upper features a 16” Geissele cold hammer forged (CHF) barrel with a chrome lining and a 1:7 twist rate. The barrel is equipped with a Nanoweapon-coated HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD muzzle device.
The Super Duty MOD1 upper utilizes a Geissele length gas system with a Super Compact Gas Block for optimal performance and reliability. It also includes a 15” Super Modular Rail MK16, known for its rigidity and comfort, which attaches securely to the upper receiver with a center alignment tab.

The core of the upper is the Geissele Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group (BCG). This Nanoweapon coated BCG features a chrome-lined gas key, an H13 steel cam pin for enhanced durability, and extended upper rails for improved feeding reliability. The BCG also includes the Geissele Stressproof Bolt, which has undergone rigorous inspection, testing, and coating for maximum performance.
